Education Week
The theme for Education Week 2026 is “Showcase your School”. In one TAP class students wrote about their favourite thing at Yarram Secondary College.
Some of their thoughts were:
“My favourite thing is cooking because it is enjoyable every class”
“I love our awesome music department, because they are there when you are having a really tough time”
“I like that YSC has a multitude of resources for learning when students need extra help with class and they are always offered help if needed”
“Something I really like about this school is the fact that we have lots of tools and space for woodwork and metalwork”
“What I like about this school is the education, the teachers are all so nice and will help you solve problems”
“What I love is that the staff put in a lot of effort with the kids, actually try to get to know them and have actual conversations with them”
“I love performing arts and music as I like to sing and dance”
