Our VM students are spending today gaining their white card. The white card is a construction induction training course, designed to train students in how to carry out tasks safely whilst working in the construction industry.
Students learn personal awareness of occupational health and safety legislative requirements, and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.
As part of the course students walked around the school, looking for potential safety hazards.
