A very successful day was held last Friday to celebrate Parks Week. In conjunction with the Wellington Shire, students in Year 8 put together a fun day to celebrate open spaces in Yarram. There was fun and games, pop up art installations, skateboarding and scooter demo, hot drinks by The Bean Pedler, ice creams and snow cones and a free bbq. This is the second time the school has been involved in organising the event and it was great to see the local primary school and some families come along to enjoy the day. Well done to all the organisers, especially Tracey Parker from the Shire, Assistant Principal Nathan Wallace and the Year 8 students.
