Sharks Unstoppable in the Wet.

Conditions went from mild to rain over the course of the day at the Interhouse Cross Country at Alberton West Rec Reserve on April 1st.

There was some great results on the day, with the serious runners and not so serious walkers taking time out of the school day for some exercise. Even students who didn’t participate got involved by helping with the bbq and handing out icy poles as the participant crossed the finish line. There was also some great shows of sportsman and comradeship as students encouraged each other to finish, with a number running through with their teammates, then heading back to the start of final straight to run through with the next runner in.

Sharks, although having the least number of participants, were able to clinch the shield at the end of the day, taking them to a 2 -0 lead in the end of year Interhouse Cup

Well done to all who attended on the day and gained valuable points for not only the day’s results but valuable points to the end of year Interhouse Cup.

A big congratulations and thank you to Mrs White, the PE department and all staff who were part of the day.
