Although not being able to post a win in the Senior Girls Interschool cricket, our girls can hold their heads up high.
On Thursday they travelled to Sale for an exciting day of competition. While the team faced a strong Maffra side and did not come away with the win, their effort, teamwork and sportsmanship were outstanding.
Captain Emily Hustwayte led from the front with a brilliant two wicket maiden, dismissing two batters in a single over without them conceding a run. Aroha and Vanessa claimed a wicket each, while Monique delivered the batting performance of the day, retiring not out. Lexie and Sydney also made their mark in the field, each taking a fantastic catch. It may not have been a win on the scoreboard, but it was a fantastic day out nonetheless!
