Yarram Secondary College and the Walpole Stadium now have a lifesaving defibrillator in place. Funds raised at the 2021 Easter Fair, run by The Hive were used to purchase this fully automatic machine.
The Van de Lustgraaf family of Emma, Katelyn Jack, and Di worked on the school stall selling fairy floss, popcorn and slushies, making a wonderful profit.
The students were asked what they wanted the money spent on, and being community minded, they immediately said a defib. After much sourcing, First Aid Officer, Jenna Rodaughan, got onto one which has now been installed, outside the stadium.
