Vietnam Veterans’ Day is observed annually on August 18th in Australia. It marks the anniversary of the 1966 Battle of Long Tan and honors the nearly 60,000 Australians who served during the Vietnam War, remembering those who sacrificed their lives, suffered injuries, or carry lasting scars
