Another fantastic day on the YSC calendar is the Interhouse Athletics carnival which was held in cool and blustery but fine conditions. Students competed in lots of events over the day including discus, javelin, long jump, triple jump, shot putt novelty events, sprints and relays. The novelty events included an egg toss, a tandem bike race for the house captains and tug of war. With so many competitors in the final event of the program the 400mts, results weren’t announced until today, where Sharks got up for the win after it being level pegging for most of the day.
To fishish the day there was a conga line and a Macarana and Nutbush dance off.
