Year 12’s are currently undertaking their oral presentations as part of their end of year results. The topics on offer are; Society, Technology & Culture, Life and Death, Sustainability and Animal Welfare, Mental and Physical Health, Society and the Law, with some of the speeches on “Should musicians be able to use AI write their music?”, “Should the restrictions around voluntary assisted dying be loosened?”, “Should there be a culling of brumbies in national parks?” “Should there be more support for mental health in rural areas?” “Should university be free for all Australians?” The students had done some great research into their particular topic and the panel members were suitably impressed with the content of each of the presentations and response to questions after their speech.
