Well done to everyone who attended our annual interhouse carnivale day on Friday. It was an amazing day with lots of sunshine, colour, laughter and friendship. The day started with a talk from former Gippsland girl Alex, who attended the Victorian Institute of Sport as a disabled athlete, where she was scouted for the rowing team. She talked about her disability, challenges she has faced and the triumphs she has had along the way. Alex missed the Paris Olympics due to an injury.
After lots of hotly contested events including archery, frisbee throw, gumboot throw, musical chairs, tug of war, egg toss, long jump, tunnel ball and more with the colour run food fight obstacle course at the end being an absolute highlight. Well done to Ms White and the sport/PE team, who are to be congratulated on organising such a fun filled day.
