On Monday 31 August, our Year 7s, Year 8A and the Senior Art Making and Exhibiting class were treated to a fantastic visit from Meg at the Gippsland Art Gallery!
While the middle years YSC students got hands-on with an engaging felting activity, inspired by renowned wildlife textile artist Annemieke Mein, the senior art students dived into the surreal, gothic works of Frank Mesaric, creating striking collages using juxtaposed images from books and magazines.
We are very lucky to have a strong connection with the Gippsland Art Gallery, and look forward to taking all our Year 9 students for a visit to the gallery in Sale early next term.
