As part of the campaign to raise awareness about gender based violence, Ms Knight’s TAP class did some activities around the day. They firstly did a word search, then wrote something showing their ideas of the campaign, then did a walk and talk for 3 laps around the oval, to tie in as part of the event organised by Yarram Neighbourhood House and YDHS.
Some of their thoughts included: “Violence isn’t ok to do,” “Gender based violence can happen to anyone. Anyone can be the victim, anyone can be the abuser,” “Respect everyone.”
