On Friday the 10th of May, Year 7 students held a celebration in the Hot House for Mother’s Day. An invitation was extended to all Mums, Grandmothers, or important female figures of these students to join in the fun and get spoiled with treats and delights.
A highlight for all attendees was the video presentation that was put together for the event by Miss Nicole Adomeit. This presentation brought tears to many eyes and reinforced how special our mothers are to all of us. The presentation included student statements about why their Mum’s are so special intermingled with student photos and an accompanying soundtrack.
Another favourite was the question and answer session where Jai Turner, Blake Gossow, Tonia McKenzie-Roff and Layton Sketcher answered questions about what their Mum’s special efforts. After all of the presentations it was time for a feast of yummy cakes and treats, there was more than enough to go around. The year 7 students set up for the event, catered and packed up afterwards.
A great achievement for all and thanks go to all members of the Junior School team for their support and promotion of this wonderful afternoon.
