And they’re off, racing at nearly 20 kilometres per hour as Mr. Mitchell attempts to control the gear-shifting beast that is the 24-seat, Yarram SC van. The group made it out nearly on time at 8 o’clock, delayed only by one dilly dallying student (whose name will remain anonymous…Phil).
Finding the bus a bit cramped due to the unnecessarily large bags of a few students (cough…Caleb….cough….Nicole…), the Year 12 VCE students spread out as best they could in the cozy bus, some even finding enough space to doze off for a bit.
The trip promises to be an enlightening and enjoyable experience, just so long as the 20 VCE students can manage to keep their noise level to a minimum. Of course with the looming threat of being left on the side of the road with a note saying “I’m 18 and now responsible for my own unruly behaviour,” this individual believes there will likely be very few major disruptions from the energetic, yet responsible Year 12s.
