Year 11 Food & Technology – Cows Create Careers Project update

After 3 weeks of trialling and refinement, VCE Food and Technology students are close to finalising recipes for the 2-page ‘Dairy recipe spread’, that each team must produce.

Miss Demaria would just like to say how proud she is of her class, and how they have worked to ‘perfect’ their recipes. It is pleasing to see that there is a range of sweet and savoury options that will be included in the class recipe book.

 Next week, the class will take a closer look at Dairy manufacturing. An industry representative from Fonterra, will visit the Secondary College on Tuesday, to share his knowledge with the students. In addition, this Friday, the class will be going to Fonterra in Darnum, to get a better understanding of Dairy Manufacturing and Processing.
