Year 10 Health – Save-A-Mate session

Year 10C students had the opportunity to participate in a morning session run by the Red Cross called Save-A-Mate (SAM). SAM works to promote the health and wellbeing of young people by providing education, service and support on key current and emerging health issues, particularly those related to alcohol and other drug use and mental health.

Students worked through interactive and educational activities that taught them how to prevent, recognise and respond to emergency situations.

At the end of this fantastic session the presenter, Megan Rowe, commented on how respectful and mature the students acted for the morning.
