After consultation and feedback from students and staff on last years wellbeing day, the school ran another successful wellbeing day yesterday. Students attended sessions on dental hygiene, preparing healthy snacks, mental health sexual health, stress and anxiety, drugs and alcohol, mates and mentors, mindfulness and more. The sessions were age appropriate to the students to help them deal with issues that can occur and how to deal with them. The presenters were all professionals in their fields and were wonderful in their dealing with the students.
The day finished on a high, with students able to participate in a yoga session, art and craft or a footy match again staff, with staff winning 4.2.26 to 2.4.16.
