Swimming success

Students competed for the coveted interhouse swimming shield on Friday with the final results coming down to participation. for the fifth year in a row, Dedel (Falcons) came first with 708, Yalmri 2nd with 653 and Gwunnawunamarang 3rd with 633pts.

Although the weather was a little on the cool side, students participated with gusto and pride to gain points for their houses. with some great performances. sportsmanship was also on display by many of the students.

Two records were broken on the day Leo Cashmore, 17yrs M  50m freestyle 19.21secs (Kade Price Handley 20.02, 2016) and Aroha Anderson 13yrs F 50m Backstroke 27.43secs (Bree Henderson 27.49, 1997)
