Science Trivia

Students delved into the world of science at a trivia competition held at lunchtime today. Five teams of students, along with a staff member, competed for vouchers as they traversed the world of science.

Some of the tricky questions included: What nationality is Albert Einstein? Which room in the house uses the most water? Where is the volcano  Olympus Mons found? What did Johannes Gutenburg invent? Sound travels faster in water than in air? Sterling Silver is pure silver? What does a lepidopterist study?

If you can answer any of these questions then you join Seamus, Brad, William and Lewis from year 7 as science quiz masters.  The winners “Army of Four” all received $10 gift vouchers.

Well done to Ms Peeters who organised the competition.
