‘Resuscitate a mate’

On the 16th June the Year 9 Community students participated in the ‘Resuscitate a Mate’ Program. The aim of the program was to introduce students to the key principles of CPR. Students learnt about DRSABCD and as part of their assessment were required to perform a mock scenario treating a victim. It was a very hands on program which students responded positively to. They listened intently and showed great maturity in performing their scenarios. Students are now better equipped should they find themselves in a potential situation where they may be required to perform CPR.
