Over 80% of marine pollution comes from land-based activities, and our year 7’s and 8’s have been studying this. On the 22nd of November from 6:30 – 8:00pm the school will be holding an exhibition in the Hot House to showcase their art and to inform people about the problems of pollution in our waterways. The students want to make people think twice about where rubbish goes when they don’t put it in the bins, in an engaging and fun way.
On the night there will be food and refreshments provided and activities for the kids such as colouring, word searchers and games to keep them entertained. Our year 9 band will also be playing on the night. We highly encourage you to come along and support the works our 7 and 8 students.
