Monash Student Champions Day

We went to Monash university on the 26th of March 2013 and learnt how to better the school community relationship with the university. We had a guest speaker come in called Mark Dobson he taught us how to become a better person and leader, using different techniques.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Shannon Ray

Access Monash is all about giving students support for going on to do higher education. I think that the the Access Monash program is a really good opportunity for us as students still at school, to voice our opinions and help provide a more in depth understanding to students of what options and careers can be given to us by a uni.                                                                                                                                      Fiona Saliakos

Today we travelled to Monash Churchill for a leadership program called Access Monash where we worked with other students in Year 9 and 11 to create a project that will help give students at our school a broader look at the options that university can give them. We also had a guest speaker, Mark Dobson who showed us various techniques that can make us and the people around us better people.                 Rachel Sellings

Access Monash was a great day where the university talked to us and gave us a project to build a better relationship between schools and the university. Mark Dobson also gave a great talk where we were taught how to be better leaders and build our selves and other people around us better to be better people. I took a lot out of this day and plan to use the advice given to me.                                         Liam Yodgee
