The overnight year 12 legal camp was a great experience for the students. Attending the Supreme Court, the students witnessed the cross examination during the trial of a murder of a known drug dealer. The accused’s defence cross-examined known associates and a doctor to prove the defendant suffered from paranoia. The case was over whether the victim had pulled a flick knife out just before his death.
While down in Melbourne the students got to see an interesting film at the Crown complex, breakfast at the Victoria Market and were lucky enough to have had their accommodation upgraded to a Terrace townhouse.
