Experiencing the Work Force

All year 10 students attended work experience last week, in many varied vocations. The school ran buses and cars to Traralgon and Sale, to allow the students greater flexibility in their chosen fields. Students worked with animals, cars, tradesmen, in gyms and nursing homes. Some of the students worked in the area where they want to pursue careers, while others just wanted to get a feel for areas they weren’t sure about. A couple of students have picked up casual work through their work experience, and a couple enquired about permanent work.  Well done to the staff who drove the students to and from the venues and to the students who went about their days in a professional manner.
