Fifteen students went to Sale Field and Game Grounds to try clay target shooting on Tuesday, 24th May. The students were grouped in three groups. There were some who had never shot before, some who had just had a bit of a go and others who had more experience.
No one was worried about the scores. Everyone just wanted to be safe and happy to be there. The targets were made easier but were the same types of targets as the ones we normally get at a competition. All the students had fun and want to join the other kids when we go to Sale for the Inter-House shoot and the Howard and Schuback Inter-school Competition.
Everyone behaved and enjoyed their meal at McDonalds on the way home. Each student was given a voucher for a Happy Meal. This was a real bonus and topped the day.
