Chinese welcomed in style

Students from Yarram Secondary College have been very welcoming to the Chinese contingent who arrived at the school last week. students have attended many general classes as well as making different things in tech classes. Tomorrow they will all be making and partaking in a “Road Kill Feast” with wattleseed damper,  Salt and pepper crocodile, Spicy roasted emu with a balsamic Jus sauce, Bush Tomato balsamic, ginger and lemon myrtle wallaby stir-fry and a desert lime (and native finger lime) coconut tart.

The students and their teacher Mr Sun are loving the opportunities they have here and have fitted in well with their host families and the school at large.

Students leave Yarram after a symposium at Federation University on Wednesday.
