Cambodia Bound

After hours of travel, including a 3-hour stopover at Ho Chi Minh City, we finally arrived at  Siem Reap Airport.  Here we were greeted by ‘Reach Out’ staff. Students were invited to travel in true Cambodian style to their accommodation by way of a ‘tuk tuk’.  After a quick 5 minute break, to place our belongings in our room, we then walked through the streets of Siem Reap, along with our guide Tara, to eat dinner at a restaurant that served traditional Khmer food. The Lok Lak was delicious! By the time we had finished dinner, everyone had hit a wall. It was about 2:00am Australian time and we were all exhausted by our day of travel and flights. It was definitely time for bed and a good nights sleep. Everyone is excited about what new experiences tomorrow will bring.
