Breakfast for hungry students

The school has breakfast club up and running on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 8.30am- 8.50am.  Run by our welfare department, SRC and ECM, all students are welcome to come along and grab a healthy breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit etc to see them through ’til lunchtime.

We are grateful to Yarram Plaza Bakery, Murray Goulburn Trading and Woolworths  who have come on board to help supply items for the breakfast.

It has been well documented that students who don’t have breakfast  have lower energy levels, lack concentration and show poor behaviour. Skipping breakfast can also lead to weight gain. Breakfast is considered an important meal because it breaks the overnight fasting period, replenishes your supply of glucose and provides other essential nutrients to keep your energy levels up throughout the day.
