The Annual Art/Tech Concert and exhibition last night was an absolute showcase with performing arts, visual arts, metal, wood and food on display.
The night is a great chance to show off the wealth of talent we have at the school, with the audience not left disappointed. Students from all years levels presented works from bands, ensembles, solos, dances with piano and a character recital thrown in to make it a magnificent night. Students are so lucky to have such accomplished music teachers at the school. Headed by Linda Bowden as coordinator, the program is supported by Saul Stainer, John Rees, Russel Praetz, Don Cook and Diana Beggs. The evening was hosted by students Sarah Myers and Shane Barlow who added their own twists to the script
The art/tech works on display showed a great depth of talent from our students in wood work, metal work, food technology, textiles and visual arts. Visual Art/Tech staff include Sonia McDonald, Casey Miller, Naomy Silvester, Helen Summers, Lucy Coghlan-Palmer, Antoinette Demaria, Jae Taylor and Mark Dows who year after year churn out some amazing pieces with the students.
Annual music awards were presented on the evening to students who have been outstanding in the program this year.
