Wellington Swimming Carnival
After the cold but successful House Swimming Carnival, a team of 15 students represented Yarram Secondary College at the Wellington Division Swimming Carnival in Traralgon today. Competing in a 50m pool compared to the 33m pool was more of a challenge for the students. Despite this there were pleasing results across all age groups; ribbon receivers and personal best times. Special congratulations to Year 12 student Shawn Venning for receiving ribbons in each of the four competitive strokes, including a 1st in the 18-20 Years 50m Backstroke. Well done to all students who represented the school.
